Ben Hanscom is played by Brandon Crane [from The Wonder Years] as a kid, and as an adult by John Ritter [from the Problem Child movies, Bride Of Chucky, Bad Santa, Three's Company and 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter].
Ben is new to Derry, and after developing a crush on Beverly and getting picked on by Henry Bowers he ended up as part of the Loser's Club. Pennywise appeared to him as his father and a rotting skeleton crawling out of the bog. Later, he also took the shape of Beverly in an attempt to scare Ben away from his mission.
