Richie's the big joker of the group, and becomes a successful comedian when he leaves Derry. The movie "I Was A Teenage Werewolf" starring Michael Landon really scared Richie. So IT used that against him and appeared as the werewolf from the movie. And when he returned as an adult, Pennywise appeared in the library and got him in the face with a balloon full of blood.
